Today the Daily Liberal paper published an article recognising Interact People Solutions consultant Kellie Reeves.
Tireless worker's efforts to change lives
A tireless worker at Dubbo is happy to do the hard yards to change the lives of hundreds of job seekers.
The Orana region has the challenges of one of the nation's highest unemployment rates and the lowest household incomes but Kellie Reeves is not deterred.
A senior employment consultant with Interact People Solutions (IPS) Dubbo, she has made a real impact in her more than three years working in the region.
This month performance in helping people into work has seen her nominated for the National Employment Services Association (NESA) Employment Consultant of the Year Award.
The gong is one of five offered each year by NESA, Australia's peak body fo the employment services sector, for outstanding performance and achievement.
Ms Reeves is always looking for new ways to add value to the lives of others.
Outside work she does 50km endurance runs and is actively involved in her community through sporting and charitable organisations.
She is similarly indefatigable in the workplace.
With IPS, Ms Reeves has been tireless in improving her own skills and those of her colleagues.
Her skills extend to improvements in internal office workflow, staff training and the creation of online resources.
But Ms Reeves is above all an employment services consultant and in that role, she is changing lives.
She regularly goes out of her way to meet with clients more frequently than required to guarantee engagement.
She always focuses on the 'can,' and the 'do': positive change, positive decision-making, goal setting and goal achievement.
She leads by example, letting her enthusiasm and positive outlook inspire others.
"Kellie is the kind of person whose infectious positivity raises everybody's game," NESA chief Sally Sinclair said.
"Her exemplary work for IPS has changed the lives of hundreds of job seekers, and made her work environment a better place at the same time."
