Employee Assistance Programs
An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is an employee benefit program that is intended to help employees deal with personal problems that might adversely impact their job performance, health, and well-being. EAPs generally include short-term counselling and referral services for employees. Supervisors may also refer employees (supervisor referral) to assist address reasons for unacceptable performance or conduct issues.
Our Employee Assistance Programs - provided by Interact Health Solutions (IHS) allow employers and employees efficient and flexible face-to-face or virtual access to our team of qualified EAP counsellors. Our qualified EAP counsellors are experienced in providing assistance to employees with personal issues such as family or relationship issues, emotional distress, substance abuse, critical incident response, and grief and mourning.
We work with a number of businesses across a diverse range of industries such as transport, retail and insurance in the implementation of effective EAPs for their staff.
